I can bath in nutella every single day of my life. At times I get overdosed with Nutella but I overcome that phase really fast.
When my sister suggested making crepes with Nutella inside and out, I did not think again. My only disappointment was I did not have any chocolate to melt or shave or simply throw on top for mere garnish. So my picture is a little on the not so beautiful side. Sorry. But the recipe is really good. So here is the recipe;
All purpose flour – 1 cup
Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Milk – 1 and 1/4 cups
Shortening / Oil – 1 tbsp
Egg – 1
Nutella – unlimited
1. Mix all the ingredients except nutella and make a thin batter. Check the amount of milk after one cup. You don’t want the batter to flow like as if a tap is open.
2. Heat a non-stick pan or crepe maker and add a spoonful of batter and swish around. A pan with sides would give you a perfect round crepe. Wait for a minute or a minute and a half until the under is golden brown. Flip and cook just for 30 seconds.
3. Warm some nutella in the microwave or double boiler, it is easier to spread and decorate with a little runny nutella. Do not burn. You will have to cry for wasting if you burn.
4. Spread nutella on half of the crepe. Fold the other half to make a semicircle. Spread some more nutella on half the semi circle and fold into quarters. Decorate with nutella and chocolate.
Stuff your face and soul into it. It is a good idea to have some warmed nutella as a sauce.
