There is a new five star addition to the skyscrapers in West Bay, Doha- the brand new City Centre Rotana– a luxury destination for global travelers and businesses. Connected to the City Centre, Doha, the place is best for relaxation and recreation. The entrance is majestic and the chandeliers are beautiful. The piano gives a delightful appeal to the guests making the hotel even warmer with the melodious music.
When I was invited to have a hotel tour, I was happy and excited and could not wait for the day. Located in the sky scraper district of Doha, City Centre Rotana offers 381 superb rooms, suites and apartments spread over 47 floors. Each of the trendy and coeval rooms attribute floor to roof windows that render remarkable sight of the sea and city, equipped with world class luxurious amenities. The most iconic feature of City Centre Rotana is the Club Rotana, which is a hotel within the hotel conveying an exceptional hospitality experience.
Being located in the heart of West Bay, the hotel is just 30 minute driving distance from Hamad International Airport and hardly 5 minutes from the Doha Exhibition and Conference Centre. City Centre Rotana offers a wide range and superbly equipped multi-functional meeting and event halls.
The hotel offers an unrivaled blend of recreational and relaxation facilities including a world class Gym, Spa, Beauty parlor and Swimming pool. The gym, Bodyline Fitness and Wellness Club is designed to face the corniche and sea views, perfect motivation needed on those days when you do not feel like working out. The swimming pool, on the 7th floor is extremely glamorous. There is a kids pool and a magnificent adults pool. The view from the beach chairs and cabanas is alluring and there is a different kind of scene at each time of the day. This is where the Aquarius Pool Bar is and I cannot think of a better way to relax.
City Centre Rotana is trying to bring new experience to dining, introducing live cooking stations and themed restaurants. The guests are spoilt with distinctive dining choices which include, Olive Oil, an all day long dining restaurant. What I loved about the restaurant is the olive green hues everywhere. Beautifully set, Olive Oil offers a Chef’s table for private dining too. Other dining options include Boston’s Restaurant and Lounge, Teatro which is a fusion restaurant, Misk, a Lebanese Restaurant and Aquarius the Pool Bar. The Interiors are designed with care in each detail. Caramel Lobby Lounge is home to some of the most beautiful pastries and delicacies. Read more about Caramel here.
One of the best places in Qatar to try out.
